PADDI, produced by staff in the architectural libraries of UCD and Queens, indexes books, journals and theses for items on Irish architecture, town planning, urban design. Material published from c.1865 to the present is included. Most publications date from the mid 20th century onwards. It covers the journals Irish Architect, Plan, Archaeology Ireland, Irish Planning and Environmental Law Journal and Irish Construction Industry, as well as important works by writers such as Craig and publications from the RIAI.
The Architectural Publications Index (API), produced by the staff of the British Architectural Library, is the leading index to newly published books and journal articles from 50 countries. The Index can be searched by architect, building name, building type, location and subject. Subject fields indexed in the API include architecture and allied arts, construction technology, design, environmental studies, planning and research.
The Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals is a programme of the Getty Research Institute, Los Angeles. Begun in 1934, the Index provides references to articles in approximately 300 current and over 1,000 retrospective architectural and related periodicals, with primary emphasis on architectural design and history as well as archaeology, landscape architecture, interior design, furniture and decorative arts, garden history, historic preservation, environmental studies, urban planning and design. The Index also includes a large body of obituaries of architects.
The Irish Statute Book contains the full text of Irish Acts published between 1922 and 2008 and Statutory Instruments published between 1922 and 2006.
